The 4th annual Bacon and Beer Classic is taking over Soldier Field for one massive festival devoted to the best things in life: bacon and beer. Enjoy all inclusive craft beers from the best local breweries while chowing down on unlimited original bacon-inspired dishes from your favorite local restaurants.

Janice Hoppe-Spiers is an award-winning writer and the chief editor of Chicago-based Food & Drink International. She is a creative storyteller with a passion for the food and beverage industry. Jonathan Surratt

When he isn't working his day job as Web Director for the Cicerone Certification Program, you can find Jonathan sampling cheeseburgers or posting social media photos of things that aren't vegetables. Jonathan strongly believes that Eastern North Carolina barbecue is the best barbecue and pizza shouldn't be cut into squares. You can try to convince him that hot dogs aren't sandwiches on Twitter or Instagram - @beerinator.


Ryan Van Voorhis

Chef Ryan and his company Nude Dude Food is quickly becoming Chicago's most sought after private dining and catering service, specializing in the art of eating well and feeling sexy.  They do this through incorporating and substituting menus and ingredients for a wide variety of anti inflammatory diets, including FODMAP and AIP.


JT Rea

Head Brewer/Barrel Master JT Rea - joined the Moody Tongue team in July 2016. He uses a background in chemistry and microbiology combined with deep roots within the brewing industry to create beers that are sure to entice and excite your palate. A dynamic and unique brewer, JT creates a culture of beers within the Moody Tongue family that pair perfectly with your favorite gourmet meal, and yet are strong enough to stand alone.
