True Brew Tour: Seattle

The Bacon and Beer Classic has been around the block a few times. Denver, New York, Nashville…you name it. But there’s only one place where we’ve touched down for 5 years straight, and it’s none other than the Emerald City. What better way to celebrate our five year anniversary in Seattle than to bring our “True Brew Tour” series to town? Added bonus: all of the breweries mentioned below will be serving at the Bacon and Beer Classic on April 28, 2018. Check ‘em out.

Half Lion Brewing Co.

Half Lion Brewing Co. is special for a few reasons. First and foremost, it’s a brewery with a tasting room. The tap room is a rustic beer nerd’s dream: made of recycled lumber, filled with live music on Thursday nights, and of course oozing with sudsy in-house brews. Our favorite thing about this unique brew house is the story behind its name. We won’t ruin it for you, but here’s a hint: it’s got more to do with a Great Dane than a lion.

Fremont’s slogan says it all: Beer Matters. This family-owned microbrewery is all about neighborhood pride, small batch brews, and creativity, especially when it comes to beer. You can feel good knowing that the folks behind Fremont actively give back to their community and the causes they care about. And they can prove it, too.

We couldn't agree more with the sentiment behind Two Beers Brewing: “everything is a little more honest after two beers.” The founders of Two Beers are committed to furthering brew culture in the Emerald City, offering a slew of Northwest-inspired beers in their tasting room. If you have an adventurous spirit or a love for the outdoors, these guys are right there with you. Trust them to dream up the perfect brew to accompany you on your next foray into nature.
