A number of renowned culinary professionals, tastemakers and craft beer

enthusiasts judged the suds and grub throughout the stadium. 

From best sweet use of bacon to weirdest twist on a craft brew,

our judges tried everything and awarded the best!

Farideh Sadeghin Before becoming the Culinary Director at Munchies, Farideh worked in restaurants in New Zealand for seven years and was the test kitchen director at Saveur Magazine. Not only can Farideh cook, but she is also an expert eater, food stylist, writer, and photographer. Her favorite foods? Pizza, chocolate, and booze (booze counts as food, right?).

Lauren Scala Emmy award winning TV personality Lauren Scala serves as a traffic reporter on NBC 4 New York’s "Today in New York" and as a features reporter for the daily lifestyle show "New York Live," where she is often seen reporting on and enjoying the newest restaurants and food trends. Her dining segments also appear in taxi cabs in a round-up called "Backseat Bites."

Adam Poch Adam is a true baconaholic! He travels the country eating bacon both for fun and as a judge at several bacon festivals every year. Not only did he have a bacon-themed wedding, but he also officiated a bacon-themed wedding. He has appeared on Travel Channel's Bacon Paradise, CBS' Big Brother, and was featured on a TV Tokyo newscast about why Americans love bacon so much. This is Adam's third year as a Bacon and Beer Classic judge.

Joe DiStefano The founder of the popular food blog CHOPSTICKS+MARROW, Joe is a Queens-based writer and culinary tour guide who is recognized as a go-to source on his home borough’s rich tapestry of cuisines and cultures. He has been featured on The Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Fox 5's Wining and Dining with Rosanna, and The Wall Street Journal. His writing has appeared in Serious Eats, The Village Voice, Gourmet, and Food Republic. He remains staunchly pro-bacon.

Joe DiStefano
